Harborough Town may have a trip to Reading in the FA Cup second round on their minds but they were unable to claim all three points at home to Royston Town in the Southern League.

The Crows found themselves a goal down in the third minute when Ben Stephens added to the two goals he scored at Tonbridge Angels in the first round to put the hosts ahead.

But Royston fought back and on his 300th appearance for the club, Adam Murray headed them level on 29 minutes and the Premier Division Central game finished 1-1.

The Crows now turn their attention to the FA Trophy second round when they host National League North Rushall Olympic at Garden Walk.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

But their unbeaten run in the Eastern Region Women's Football League is over after eight straight successes.

They went down 1-0 to Luton Town and while they remain top of the Premier Division, the Hatters have now closed the gap to six points with two games in hand.

Amber Leighton got the only goal while Tally Miles was sent off for Royston to cap a very difficult afternoon.

Before they take on Fulham, Royston will continue the defence of their Herts Women's Senior Cup when they travel to league rivals St Albans City on Sunday for a quarter-final tie.

Royston Town Vets also suffered a defeat when they lost 2-0 to Welwyn Sports at Garden Walk in the Herts Verts Super League Premier Division.

They host Sandridge Rovers in the Championship League Cup group stage on Sunday.
