A member of Melbourn Judo Club is gearing up for a medal tilt at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Emma Reid is one of five judoka selected by the British Olympic Association (BOA) for the global showpiece, which begins with the opening ceremony on Friday, July 26.
It will be the reigning Commonwealth champion's first Olympics and comes a little over a month after her bronze at the World Championships.
The 29-year-old Royston native will compete in the 78kg category.
Chelsie Giles and Lucy Renshall both return for their second Games, both having competed at Tokyo 2020 where Giles won bronze, the first of 64 won by Team GB in Japan.
Like Reid, Katie-Jemima Yeats-Brown from Kent, a double Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, and British Champion Lele Nairne from Weston-super-Mare, will be making their Olympic debuts.
Team GB chief Mark England said: "Watching Chelsie claim our first medal in Tokyo was such a special moment for us all at Team GB.
It is brilliant to have her and Lucy returning to the team this summer.
"And we are very pleased to welcome Emma, Mima and Lele to the team for their debut Games."
British Judo performance director Nigel Donohue added: "We have a team for Paris that has had some extraordinary results over a very demanding qualification period, including European and World Championships performances.
"They have secured their Olympic selection and we are confident that we have a team that can compete with the best in the world.
"British Judo’s success at these Games will be enjoyed by all who have massively contributed to developing fighters in the performance system and preparing them for the ultimate event in our fantastic sport.
"We are ready for Paris 2024."
The judo competition runs from Saturday, July 27, to Saturday, August 3, at the Arena Champ-de-Mars, situated at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
Reid's event will run throughout the day on Thursday, August 1.
Matt Coward-Holley meanwhile, who began his career at Nuthampstead Shooting Ground, is heading to his second games, looking to better his bronze from Tokyo 2020.
The ex-Felsted School pupil is one of six shooters selected by the BOA for Paris 2024 and will go in the trap event, part of a double GB assault with Nathan Hales.
Shooting team leader Steven Seligmann added: "Every athlete should be extremely proud to be heading to Paris. All six continue to go on their own incredible journeys and we are excited to see our team, which is full of potential, perform at the Games.
“This is an exciting group of athletes, and we have immense confidence in all of them.
"They’ve all secured their quota place in their own right, demonstrating significant performances on the world stage and they’re going into the Games in a really strong place."
The shooting competition will start on day one of the full competition, Saturday, July 27, and will run through to August 5.
Coward-Holley will begin his event on Monday, July 29, with the final a day later.
All 15 different shooting events will take place at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre, 140 miles south of Paris.
