The ladies of Royston Golf Club enjoyed a tremendous day after a competitive return to action.
The Spring Meeting is an annual event that signifies the real start of competition for the year at the Therfield Heath-based club.
A roast dinner was the prize for the field after the event but before then the 28 ladies had been locked in a battle for top honours over 18 holes.
The overall winner came from Division Three, Liz Slaughter collecting 37 points, one more than Annette Copeland, the Division Two victor, and two ahead of Jenny Jarvis who claimed the Division One prize.
Second places went to Steph Denton in Division One on 33 points, Josie Seward of Division Two with 28 and Division Three's Jackie Bailey who collected 35 points.
Linda Lakey was best on the front nine with 17 while 18 points was enough for Chris Dewhurst to win the back nine prize.
The awards were presented by lady captain Sue Bidwell who also earned herself a crystal Golf Foundation ball marker after winning the foundation's charity game, which this year raised £50 from entries.
