Ashwell and Meldreth will have representation at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Sophie Lewis, a former member of Cycle Club Ashwell, has been selected for England's cycling team where she will compete on the track, being held in the London 2012 arena at Lee Valley.
She will take her place alongside former Welwyn Wheeler and GB Olympic hero, Dame Laura Kenny as well as Ethan Hayter of Ineos Grenadiers.
Dan Goodfellow meanwhile is no stranger to top level competition or the Commonwealth Games themselves.
The Meldreth diver won bronze in the 10m synchro at the Rio 2016 Olympics before upgrading it to gold in the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Australia.
He then went further again just last year at the Tokyo Olympics by picking up gold with Jack Laugher in the synchronised 3m springboard.
The pair are both among the 18-strong squad selected by Team England.
The Games start on July 28 with the track cycling between July 29 and August 1 and the diving in the purpose-built Sandwell Aquatics Centre from August 4 until the final day of competition on August 8.
