An author and artist will present their work at Curwens Art Gallery in Royston over the coming weeks.

Independent North Herts author Phil Oddy will appear at the gallery at 17 High Street from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, December 1, and again on Saturday, December 14.

This year Phil published the first two books in his time travel series, Entanglement

The first book, Echoes, follows Estrel Beck, who is trapped in a strange city and trying to answer the question "Who can you trust, if you can't trust yourself?"

The second book, Entrapment, is the story of Simeon Lagrange, who is tasked with investigating a murder while grappling his own personal demons. He soon realises that, to save the future, you have to fix the past.

Readers praised the book's "depth and imagination of storytelling, which leaves you wanting more".

The third book, Eclipse, is scheduled for release in March 2025.

Phil has also written a prequel to the series, entitled Welcome to Trinity, which follows Clar Triebel as he journeys to the city state of Trinity in search of a new life.

At the event, Phil will talk about his writing and attendees can buy signed books.

Sharon said: "I am passionate about capturing the beauty of wildlife through pastel and colour pencil.

"I strive to raise awareness for conservation with every creation. Join me on this vibrant journey to protect our planet’s magnificent creatures!"
