Year 2 pupils at Icknield Walk First School visited St John the Baptist Church in Royston to learn more about churches.
The pupils have been studying churches as part of their RE curriculum, and visited the church to explore many of the features they have been learning about in class.

Vicar Steven Sivyer talked to the children about his role within the church, arranged a treasure hunt and played a tune on the organ.
Year 2 teacher Miss Brown said: "The children had prepared some great questions for the vicar and were interested to learn more about one of their local churches."
St John the Baptist Church reopened last year after suffering significant damage from a devastating fire in 2018.
