Two Royston care home residents were surprised with a trip to a golf course after learning they were both keen golfers.

Joan and Barbara, who live at Margaret House Care Home, got chatting at the home's weekly coffee morning and discovered their shared love of golfing.

Joan and Barbara both said they had a "fabulous" time and "absolutely loved" being back on the golf course.

Lea-Ann said: "This is what makes my job so special, being able to organise a special event that really means a lot to residents and helps bring back good memories too."
