Rebecca Saxton captured this stunning photograph of the Northern Lights above Great Chishill Windmill.

The picture was taken at around 10.30pm on Thursday, October 10.

Rebecca said: "There was a large CME [coronal mass ejection from the sun's atmosphere] announced earlier in the day so I took a drive to an interesting location with a dark sky.

"I feel so lucky that I got to see the aurora so far south in the twice in one year!

"The colours were very different to the display in May with much more red and orange in the sky this time."
