New Year 4 pupils at Therfield First School in Royston paid their first visit to pensioners at Age UK's '10 to 3 club'.
Year 4s at the school visit the club once each half term, building up friendships with the club members.
The new Year 4s attended their first session on Wednesday, September 25, and sang songs while the members played accompanying musical instruments.

They also played bingo, with eight-year-old Billy and 94-year-old Ray declared the winners.
Therfield headteacher Tara McGovern said: "This is a highly anticipated rite of passage for our Year 4 pupils.
"The personal development that the children get from spending time with the elderly members is beyond amazing. The smile on everyone’s faces is a joy to see."
