Staff at a Melbourn care home are offering a free breakfast to emergency services personnel to thank them for their work.
The 'Blue Light Breakfast' at Melbourn Springs is for paramedics, nurses, police officers and other emergency services workers who do not always have time to go home or back to their workplace on a break.
Food and drink will be available at the home in Hyacinth Drive on the second Thursday of each month from 9am to midday.
Maria Ulan, general manager at Melbourn Springs, said: "To say thank you for all of the great work our emergency services do for us, we here at Melbourn Springs are inviting all members of the police, ambulance and fire services to pop in and take their duty break on us for free.
