Young artists from King James Academy in Royston are displaying their GCSE artwork at Curwens Art Gallery.

The King James Academy GCSE Art Exhibition will be on display until Wednesday, October 2 in the gallery within Curwens Solicitors at 17 High Street.

The gallery is open during office hours from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with an open evening for visitors to see the students' work on Wednesday, October 2 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

Elaine Baigent, leader of art and design at King James Academy, said: "Our Year 11 students worked so hard on their portfolios and it’s exciting to see their collection come together in the gallery.

"I hope the students will enjoy a huge sense of achievement and pride."
