Staff, residents and relatives came together for Melbourn Springs Care Home's summer party.
The care home hosted a variety of activities on Saturday (August 31), including music courtesy of Royston Radio - which played songs that were specifically chosen by the residents - a barbecue, and games for all generations.
There was also freshly baked cakes and a variety of drinks prepared by the catering team.
Resident Audrey Sibley said: “I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was surrounded by lots of great people, and the refreshments kept flowing.
"The weather held out until we finished. Staff did a great job, not just on the day, but organising the event and getting everyone together.”
Melbourn Springs care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.
It provides residential care, and dementia care for 75 residents from respite care to long term stays.
