Comedian Rachel Parris will stop off at Cambridge Corn Exchange on the autumn leg of her UK and Ireland tour.
Her show Poise will take place at 7.30pm on Friday, September 13, with tickets available at https://www.cambridgelive.org.uk/cornex/events/rachel-parris-poise.
Tickets are either £24 or £21 depending on seat, and include a £3 booking fee.
Poise features a blend of stand-up comedy and songs, touching on some of life's most personal and emotional moments, expressed with lightness, acidity and often a catchy refrain.
A BAFTA-nominated comedian, Rachel is known for her viral satirical segments on The Mash Report and Late Night Mash, which have had more than 100 million views.
She is also one of the founding cast members of award-winning Jane Austen-inspired improv group Austentatious, who regularly perform to sold-out crowds in London's West End and have had multiple sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Rachel said: "I’m very excited to bring this show to places I’ve never performed before.
"This show is going to be a love letter to musical comedy – there’ll be stand-up, there’ll be satire, but I’m going back to where I started – at the piano singing funny songs - it’s what I’m best at, and I can’t wait to meet new audiences across the UK and Ireland and persuade them to sing along."
Rachel beat Tiffany Haddish, Ellen DeGeneres and Amy Schumer to become Female First's Comedian of the Year, and in 2022 published her first book Advice from Strangers: Everything I Know From People I Don't Know.
