Dobbies garden centre is inviting children to a free Little Seedlings workshop in Royston.
Children aged four to 10 years old can join the interactive gardening event on Sunday, August 4, which will include a special show and tell.
Dobbies' Hannah McAtamney, who facilitates the workshops, said: "Our Little Seedling Club workshops at Dobbies’ Royston store are really popular with families in the area, and we can’t wait to take kids on a journey of discovery by exploring the lifecycle of plants, and the benefits and importance of gardening and growing.
"We’re looking forward to seeing some of the plants they are growing at home."
The Little Seedlings Club aims to provide an enjoyable and informative setting for children to discover more about plants, wildlife, and their environment.

The workshop, Show and Tell and Growing, offers a hands-on learning experience where children are encouraged to bring along a plant they have nurtured.
Dobbies' team will demonstrate the plant growth stages; from a tiny seedling to a flourishing adult plant, giving an insight into the crucial role varying plant parts play, like the essential function of roots for absorbing water and nutrients, and exploring different plant habitats.
