A Melbourn care home hosted a successful cheese and wine night for residents, staff, family, friends and the community.
Barchester’s Melbourn Springs Care Home staff organised the event, sourcing local and exotic cheeses to pair with wines.
General manager, Maira Ulian, said: "It is such a classic combination, our residents had a fantastic time tasting all the different cheeses and wines on offer and we always love inviting our friends, neighbours and residents’ families in to join us.
Resident Audrey Silsby said: "We've all had such a lovely day.
"It was great to be able to sample so many new cheeses and try them with different wines, not to mention all the chutneys and relishes our head chef added into the mix."
