An assortment of therapy pets including reptiles and chickens recently visited a care home in Melbourn.
The residents at Barchester's Melbourn Springs Care Home met Poppy the puppy, rabbits, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, lizards, and even a chicken named Doris.

A spokesperson for Michelle’s Animal Therapy said: "The animals have had a wonderful afternoon - I don’t think they have ever had so much attention.
"Poppy the puppy will never forget her first visit to Melbourn Springs and all of the other animals had the best possible afternoon.”
Maria Ulian, Barchester’s general manager, said: "It was brilliant to be able to ask the animal handlers questions about working with the animals and what it is like to look after them."
