Bassingbourn Youth Football Club (BYFC) is calling on volunteers to help renovate their temporary premises.
Since their last clubhouse was condemned over a year ago, the club has had no toilets or space to store equipment and shelter spectators in the rain.
They have now been granted permission to use the old bowls pavilion in the grounds of Bassingbourn Village College. However the inside of the building needs clearing, plastering, painting and cleaning, while the outside needs painting, guttering and roofing.
The club is planning a weekend of renovation work from 8am on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23.
Volunteers are welcome to join or donate materials. To donate money to help fund materials, search for 'BYFC' on justgiving.com.
