The captains of Royston Golf Club have raised £6,562.63 for the Royal Papworth Charity during their year in the role.
Dave Bidwell, club captain for 2023, and ladies captain Sue Bidwell raised the money through various activities during their captaincy, including selling bunker exemption vouchers, raffles and auctions.

Both Dave and Sue said they were "very pleased" with the amount raised and thanked everyone who had contributed to their chosen charity.
The captains presented a cheque to Sophia Skuburs, charity communications officer at Royal Papworth Charity, and Eilish Midlane, chief executive officer at Royal Papworth Hospital.
Royal Papworth Charity helps support the hospital by funding lifesaving projects, including the Heart and Lung Research Institute and Critical Care Psychological Wellbeing Services.
