CCTV images have been released after several thefts and attempted thefts from motor vehicles in Royston.

Overnight from Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4, two thefts from vehicles were reported in Gloucester Place.

Police also received other reports of people trying car door handles in the town.

The people in the images were thought to be in the area around the time of the incident, and may be able to help officers with their enquiries.

To help deter thieves, police are advising people to lock their vehicle at all times, remove valuables when the car is left unattended and report any suspicious activity.
