The Fox & Duck in Therfield is celebrating after being crowned 'Digital Pub of the Year' for the second time.
The pub was praised for its 'continued, innovative' social media presence at the industry's Night of Excellence Awards.
Judges commended the pub for its creativity when promoting the business, having fun on social media to engage customers and encourage them to visit.
As a gastro pub, The Fox & Duck was praised by judges for its food and drink - with ingredients sourced from local suppliers and a regularly rotated seasonal menu - as well as for its service and overall pub experience.
Licensee Ivan Titmuss said: "We are so proud to have won Digital Pub of the Year at the Night of Excellence Awards not once, but twice!
"To receive this recognition and praise from our peers in the pub industry means a lot.
"A good social media presence can make all the difference to a pub being a success, so it’s really important."
The Night of Excellence Awards, run in partnership with Greene King Pub Partners, were held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire for the second year running.
The ceremony comprises 14 awards ranging from 'Community Pub of the Year' to 'Entertainment Pub of the Year', which are all sponsored by key suppliers to the pub sector and brands such as Molson Coors, Coca-Cola and Bacardi.
More than 140 licensees from across the country who work with Greene King Pub Partners attended the ceremony and dinner, as well as representatives from the hospitality and pub sector including trade bodies and business leaders.
