Gillian Morland has retired from her post as manager of Coombes Community Centre in Royston after 20 years.
During her time at the centre, Gillian has turned the venue in Burns Rood into a thriving hub for activities and organisations who hire the hall and meeting rooms.
Gillian has also overseen the installation of free Wi-Fi, an accessible lift to the first floor and an extensive free car park.

From April 1, Gillian's role will be taken over by Zoe Patrick, who has been assistant manager for the past two years, while Nicola Clark will join as the new assistant manager after Easter.
The centre is run by voluntary trustees from Royston Community Association.
