Dobbies garden centre is inviting families to take part in free events at its Royston store to celebrate Easter.
Activities on offer include the Little Seedlings Club workshop on Sunday, April 7 and Easter Holiday sessions which will be held at various dates throughout April.
Aimed at children aged three to 10, the sessions aim to make gardening engaging and educational for children, providing them with the chance to explore a new hobby and make friends.
Throughout April, the Little Seedlings Club workshop will teach children about how to have a wildlife-friendly garden.
Attendees will learn about the importance of biodiversity and common garden wildlife, such as bees, butterflies, birds, frogs, hedgehogs, and squirrels.
The Easter holiday sessions will also teach children about spring, including some key facts about the season.
They will learn how to cultivate a vibrant flower and vegetable garden at home and will be taught about the different spring baby animals.
Children will also discover how to plant and care for pansy seeds, which they will be allowed to take home.
Sarah Murray, who developed the Easter programme of activity at Dobbies, said: "Spring is the perfect time to get back into the garden and enjoy the outdoors, and we’re eager to share our love for gardening with passionate young enthusiasts.
“We know how tricky it can be to keep the kids entertained and busy over the school holidays, so bring the whole family to Dobbies Royston store for a fun and interactive session.”
Parents can also take advantage of Dobbies' Kids Eat Free offer, which runs throughout the day.
Children under 16 can eat for free with every traditional adult breakfast or main course meal at lunchtime.
