A free event for children will take place at a garden centre in Royston during the February half term.
To mark Random Acts of Kindness Day on Saturday, February 17, Dobbies’ Royston store will host a workshop for children aged four to 10, highlighting the importance of kindness.
The programme will involve activities where children can learn and express kindness to others, nature, and to themselves.
Bookings can be made in advance at dobbies.com/events.
Liz Savage, Dobbies’ Little Seedlings Club workshop leader, said: "School holidays are a great chance to ignite a passion for a hobby or try something new.
"This workshop will allow kids to come together and learn, making friends along the way.
"Our Little Seedings Club is designed to engage and support local communities near our Royston store by providing accessible, free of charge fun and educational activities."
Children can make bug hotels, feed birds, plant flowers, pick up litter or make compost, with activities encouraging children to love the environment.
As well as helping the planet, children will be encouraged to be kind to themselves by adopting healthy routines and sharing their feelings.
Participating children will also create a sunshine thank you card to bring joy to others.
