Two community organisations in Royston have received much-needed grants from the town council.
Royston Girl Guiding received a grant of £500, which will go towards the renovation of the Girl Guides HQ hut and surrounding area.
The second grant of £340 was awarded to Royston & District Community Transport for the purchase of a 'crash-tested' wheelchair for passengers who do not have one.

Mayor of Royston Cllr Lisa Adams said: "I'm very pleased that Royston Town Council are able to support another two local organisations with the awarding of Community Grants.
"We hope this continues to encourage more local voluntary organisations, clubs and charities to apply."
The grants were awarded in a meeting of the full council earlier this month.
