A care home in Melbourn has raised money for a charity dedicated to helping families going through challenging times.
Melbourn Springs Care Home organised a Christmas Fayre for Home-Start, which provides home-visiting services to families.
Tracy Aggett, Home-Start fundraising events support manager, said: "Thank you so much to everyone involved with Melbourn Springs.
"We are so grateful for such an amazing donation."
Proceeds were raised through a tombola and a raffle, as well as a visit from Father Christmas.
A total of £475.90 was collected, largely from the contributions of residents' families and staff.
Denise Ashby, activities lead at the care home, said: "It has been a privilege to support such a worthy charity and we are looking forward to holding a coffee morning on Valentine’s Day to support them even further."
