Royston Bowling Club has chosen Home-Start as their charity of the year, and will be helping to raise funds for families in need.
Home-Start Royston, Buntingford and South Cambridgeshire is a community network of trained volunteers who support families with young children that are going through challenging times.
The charity, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, is based at Valley Farm in Meldreth.

Royston Bowling Club's treasurer David Powell presented Tracy Aggett, Home-Start's fundraising events support manager, with a cheque for £1,000 at a recent club dinner event.
Tracy said: "We were also happy to learn that they will be holding an annual competition for a new Home-Start trophy.
"Our thanks to everyone at the club for their support."
