The people of Royston and surrounding villages have raised a record £4,500 for Children in Need.
The money was raised at a collection held by Royston Rotary Club - with help from Pudsey Bear - over two days at the town's Tesco store.

Rotarian David Beardwell, the principal organiser, said: "It says so much for the people of our town at a time when so many are grappling with multiple and sustained attacks on their family budgets.
"Well done Royston! Many thanks, too, to Tesco who provided a perfect venue for this event. Long may it continue...
"The exact figure was a staggering £4,458.50, raised over Friday and Saturday. Both days were very similar, Friday £2,320.84 and Saturday £2,137.66."
