Dignitaries and members of the public in Royston and surrounding villages paid tribute to the fallen for Remembrance Sunday.
A small service was held at the War Memorial to mark Armistice Day on Saturday, November 11, before moving to the 91st Bomb Group Memorial in Priory Memorial Gardens.
On Remembrance Sunday itself, a parade started Queens Road before heading to the War Memorial for the service of remembrance.
Mayor of Royston Cllr Lisa Adams said it was "a great honour" to lay the wreath on behalf of Royston Town Council, and thanked everyone who braved the rainy weather to attend the service.
Newlings of Royston Funeral Directors also attended, with funeral manager Andy Mcfadyen laying a wreath on behalf of the company and Nicola New playing The Last Post.
The parade and service was directed and organised by Chris Murphy of the Royal British Legion, with members of the Armed Forces, local businesses and members of the public all gathering to pay their respects.
A Remembrance Sunday parade also took place in Melbourn, followed by an act of remembrance at The Cross.
