Mary Poppins, Buzz Lightyear and Freddie Kruger were among the film characters on display at this year's Foxton Scarecrow Festival.
The festival - which is held every two years - took place on Saturday, October 7, with creative scarecrows on display throughout the village.
This year's theme was 'films', with children's characters such as Harry Potter and Woody from Toy Story appearing alongside gory scenes from Jaws and Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible.
There was also a display featuring Sir David Attenborough on the set of Planet Earth, complete with his film crew and wild animals, and a montage from The Greatest Showman featuring P. T. Barnum, a bearded lady and a trapeze artist.
Children from Foxton School and Pre-School made individual scarecrows from films including The Smurfs, Minions and 101 Dalmatians.
Visitors were treated to bacon butties and soup at Foxton House and homemade cakes in the village hall.
Dancers from Lane Academy performed, as well as Impromptu Band, the Semitones and Foxton Singers.
Everyone had the chance to vote for their favourite scarecrows, with Dobby by Deana Vaughan and Buzz Lightyear by Ruth Trinidad declared the joint winners.
A spokesperson for Foxton Scarecrow Festival said: "Congratulations to all the entrants for producing such amazing scarecrows and to the winners of all the various competitions.
