Children aged five to 12 are invited to take part in a cupcake decorating workshop as part of Royston Arts Festival.
The workshop takes place from 10am to midday on Sunday, September 24 at Kelly's Kitchen cake and coffee shop, 7a Lower King Street, Royston (next to the museum).
Participating children will decorate cupcakes around the theme of the festival: 'A Force of Nature', and learn how to pipe a buttercream swirl.
The workshop is free to attend when spending £5 in store.
Kelly Da Silva Fernandes opened the doors of her cake shop in December 2022. The shop specialises in treats such as cookie pies, brownies, loaded cupcakes and cookie sandwiches - as well as custom orders for baby showers, corporate events, celebrations and wedding cakes.
Kelly's Kitchen also has a dedicated wedding cake consultation area, where couples can enjoy freshly baked cakes and complimentary drinks while designs are sketched out for their bespoke wedding cake.
Coffee and iced drinks, provided by Hot Numbers, are also served in the store.
Owner Kelly said: "We are a half British and half Portuguese family. My husband was born in Venezuela and raised in the beautiful Portuguese island of Madeira.
"I take huge delight in our family gatherings where food is everything! Recipes are handed down through generations and I always come away inspired.
"We have a Portuguese specials counter including Pão de Deus, Bolo de Coco and Pastel de Natas.

"One of my earliest, and fondest, memories is standing on a stool in my Grandmother’s kitchen baking cupcakes with her and after spending many hours pouring love into my own children’s cakes, I realised that I truly loved what I was doing.
"Now that my passion has now grown into a business. I feel so privileged sharing my passion by creating truly bespoke cakes that tell an individual story for extra special celebrations.
"It’s a joy to introduce children to cake decorating through our events."
The shop is open from 9pm to 5pm on Fridays and from 9pm to 2pm on Saturdays, and also offers cupcake decorating parties.
