The former ladies captain at Royston Golf Club recently celebrated her 101st birthday.
Audrey Varney, who lives at Melbourn Springs Care Home, used to be an avid golfer and played most days during her youth.
She is still a big sports fan, and according to staff at the home "will watch sports all day".
Audrey also loves animals, and thrives when therapy ponies visit Melbourn Springs.
A spokeswoman for the home said: "Audrey is a loving, kind and very patient lady who loves to watch other people enjoying themselves and enjoys long chats with tea and dark chocolate mints.
