Make Lunch Royston received £500 to help feed families in need as part of the town council's community grants scheme.
The service provides free, healthy cooked meals to families in Royston who may struggle to provide for their children during the school holidays.
The grant will enable Make Lunch to provide three additional sessions during the summer holidays.
Town Mayor of Royston Cllr Lisa Adams said: "I’m delighted that Royston Town Council has awarded its first community grant to Make Lunch Royston.
