Melbourn Springs care home residents received a surprise visit this week from Charlie the therapy Shetland pony.
Residents got to spend time with Charlie and new trainee therapy pony Barney, who is two years old.
Care home resident Avriel said: "I've never touched a horse before and now I have a pony resting his head on my bed! How lovely!"
Barney was still getting used to the automatic doors, carpet under his hooves and using a lift - but everyone was "delighted" with his progress.
