Royston celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III with a celebration day on Sunday, with residents enjoying the unexpected sunshine.
The 'Coronation Celebration Day' - organised by Royston First - saw thousands of visitors flock to Priory Memorial Gardens with family, friends and picnic blankets to mark the occasion.
Twelve different food vendors from Street Food Heroes lined the gardens, and there was also a DJ and a bar.
The crowd also enjoyed live music performances from Miss Jones, Limitless Academy, Royston Town Band and country musician Georgia Nevada.
Children were able to enjoy bouncy castles, face-painting and hair-braiding. Among the local organisations involved in the festivities were Royston Fire Crew members, Royston Leisure Centre, Hearts First Aid Training and a fundraising team from King James Academy.
Town Mayor Cllr Mary Antony officially opened the event, before announcing the result of the best dressed coronation window competition.

The award went to Essex & Herts Air Ambulance for their impressive coronation-themed window.
They were presented with a £50 voucher to spend at a Royston-based business of their choice, and also won an advert in The Listing Magazine.
Royston First thanked everyone involved in making the event such a success, including supporters Street Food Heroes, Royston District & Round Table and Royston Events Partnership.
Cath Boughton, on behalf of Royston First, said: "Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate the Coronation Celebration Day in Priory Memorial Gardens, on Sunday.
"We were overjoyed to see so many people of all ages relaxing in the sunshine and creating such a vibrant atmosphere in our town.
"The event would not have been possible without the volunteers from Royston District & Round Table and Royston Events Partnership, and the performers who took part.
"A special thanks to Matt at Lite Works for the PA system, too."
The event took place the day after the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, and coincided with the nationwide Coronation Big Lunch.
