North East Herts MP Sir Oliver Heald welcomed Conservative Party chair Greg Hands MP to Johnson Matthey in Royston on Tuesday, April 11.
Mr Hands heard about the company's role in developing hydrogen technology and other environmental technologies. He also met with Alastair Judge, CEO of the Platinum Metals group.

After the visit, Mr Hands said: "I saw how their expertise in Platinum Group Metals facilitates the transition to net zero for the chemical, energy and transport industries – amazing to hear about plans for this site to become the leading manufacturing location for hydrogen fuel cells in Europe."
Sir Oliver added: "Johnson Matthey is a great British company and has a key role in growing the economy with environmental technology."
