The Friends of Therfield Heath and Greens celebrated their annual easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 2, which raised more than £300.
More than 400 tickets to were sold, with children coming to the heath to search for brightly painted stones which they could convert towards chocolate and sweets.
The Friends would like to thank Tesco Extra Royston, Bury Lane Farm, The Original Factory Shop and Naturally Happy Dogs, who provided some of the prizes for the event.
The money raised will go towards supporting the conservation and management of the heath, and will fund equipment for the Ranger of Therfield Heath to use to keep the heath emission-free.

Hollie Christie, chair of the Friends of Therfield Heath and Greens, said: "With the sun shining on a gorgeous blue sky it was wonderful to see so many families arrive on the heath to participate in this affordable and environmentally friendly activity.
"The heath is a precious resource and can be enjoyed by the local community whilst ensuring we’re not harming the flora and fauna that call the heath home."
The Friends also thanked the team of volunteers who helped on the morning of April 2 by picking up litter on the heath.
