Home-Start in Royston, Buntingford and South Cambs has congratulated the charity's 10 new home visiting volunteers, who have recently completed their initial training.
The training course, which took place over six weeks, helped the new volunteers understand their role as a home visitor as they prepare to be matched with their first families.
Senior coordinator Jackie Cotton said: "It is really rewarding to work with a new group of volunteers and watch them learn about Home-Start and themselves, as they work through the course.
"Our Home Visiting support acts as a lifeline to so many of the families that we work with, so having 10 new volunteers will help us to reach lots more families in our community that need our support."
