She recently received an Olivier award nomination for the National Theatre's production of Jack Absolute Flies Again.

The role of Sir George Crofts is played by Simon Shepherd, who stars as Dr Will Preston in ITV's Peak Practice.

Caroline's daughter Rose plays Mrs Warren's daughter Vivie. Shortly after graduating in 2019, Rose starred in the horror movie York Witches Society, and recently originated the role of Katrina Van Tassel in the stage version of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

They are joined by Matthew Cottle as Reverend Gardner, Stephen Rahman-Hughes as Mr Praed and Peter Losasso as Frank Gardner.

In the play, Mrs Warren's daughter Vivie has never really known much about her mother.

A sensible young woman, she has enjoyed a comfortable upbringing. Is it conceivable that her privilege and respectablity has been financed from the profits of the world's oldest profession?
