The Rotary Club of Royston raised £2,320 to support relief efforts following the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
A collection was held at Tesco Extra in Royston on Friday, February 17 and Saturday, February 18.
The club now plans to make its own donation to the fund, to bring the total up to £3,500. The money will go towards the Rotary Foundation's Disaster Response Fund.

Club president Peter Mitton said: "No-one who has witnessed the terrible scenes from the earthquake zone can fail to have been moved by the plight and suffering of the people there."
He thanked the people of Royston and surrounding villages for their support, and Tesco Extra for allowing the collection to be held at short notice.
