Melbourn Springs Care Home residents made fairy cakes for children, parents and carers at Barkway Baby and Toddler Group.
The care home residents were welcomed with open arms - sometimes literally - as the children were eager to involve them in their activities.
Melbourn Springs activities lead Denise Ashby said: "We had a wonderful morning and would like to thank everyone for making us so welcome."
Playgroup leader Louise Harding invited the residents back to celebrate pancake day with the children.
The home's manager Maria Anghelide said: "What a wonderful experience for our residents!

"We hope to invite children and their carers into Melbourn Springs for a play morning very soon."
