A Melbourn care home is offering three grants totalling £30,000 in memory of Jeanette Gill, a former resident of care provider Barchester.
Jeanette Gill donated part of her legacy to Barchester's Charitable Foundation, and now Melbourn Springs Care Home is calling for local charities and community groups to apply.
Named the Jeanette Gill Special Awards, the grants are open to both groups and individuals.
They will be awarded to projects that enrich lives and encourage an active lifestyle through arts, music, sports and culture for older people or adults with disabilities, or people who experiences challenges with mental health.
This year will mark the last round of gifts from Jeanette's legacy.

The three awards available are the £15,000 gold award and the £10,000 silver award, both of which are open to groups, and the £5,000 bronze award, which is open to individuals.
Barchester's Charitable Foundation is particularly interested in initiatives that tackle isolation and loneliness.
Dr Peter Calveley, CEO of Barchester Healthcare and chairman of the Foundation, said: "We were extremely touched that one of our residents donated so generously.
"We thought it would be fitting to create these flagship grants in her honour and memory as a tribute to the lives she is helping."
