The Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Society will perform Agatha Christie's The Hollow next week - the first time the classic murder mystery has been staged in the city since it debuted more than 70 years ago.
Ryan Keys will play the role of Inspector Colquhoun, with Yoel Mulegheta as Sergeant Penny.
Lady Angkatell will be played by Betty Blythe, with Noah Chamberlain as Sir Henry Angkatell, Amy Brian as Henrietta Angkatell and Erin Tan as Veronica Kraye.
In the play, the serene peace of an English country garden in 1946 is disturbed when Lady and Sir Henry Angkatell's neighbour, the glamorous Veronica Kraye.
The Hollow is one of Agatha Christie's most popular novels, featuring one of her best comic characters in Lady Angkatell, and one of her most tragic and ingenious solutions.
Directors Pauline Eller and Izzy Colman also centred outreach in their production process, in collaboration with the Cambridge Women's Campaign, who are holding two affiliated events.
The Hollow runs at the ADC Theatre from Tuesday, February 14 through to Saturday, February 18, with performances at 7.45pm every night and a matinée on Saturday at 2.30pm.
