A pantomime group in Barkway is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a performance of Shriek! The Musical.
The show by the Barkway Players promises ghouls, ghosts and monsters, along with the usual collection of songs and terrible jokes.
This is a significant milestone for the group as it marks their 30th season. Formed in 1993, the Barkway Players have performed an original village pantomime - written by group members - every year apart from 2021, when they were forced to cancel due to Covid.
Edwin Kilby, the show's producer, who also plays Dr Frankenstein, said: "We’ve been going for 30 years, but horror is a genre we haven’t yet visited. And it's certainly a show with spirit!"
