Animal Search UK's Missing Pet Search Team are out in Royston today on the hunt for missing cat Norman.
Norman disappeared on Christmas Day from his new home in Royston, and does not know the area.
His owners, Ben Hewitt and Emily Mackay, have issued a £1,000 reward for his return.
They said: "We longed for a cat for a long time, we chose this new house for him, as it would be safe and perfect for him."
Norman is an 11-year-old chunky tuxedo cat with a black body, white socks and neck, and half-white, half-black markings on his face. He is chipped and neutered.
Alisha Turner from Animal Search Headquarters said: "Norman is new to the area and won’t know the area that well.
"His owners are very worried for Norman as this is out of character for him and he had been coming and going normally up until this point."
Royston residents are asked to check their sheds and outbuildings, and transport workers are asked to check their vehicles.
Anyone who thinks they might have seen Norman or have any information, should call the Animal Search UK team on 0800 4 320 340 or visit our website at www.animalsearchuk.co.uk quoting reference number ALP299017
