A Royston couple is offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to the safe return of their cat Norman, who went missing on Christmas Day.
Owners Ben and Emily moved to Royston last month, and said they are "devastated" after Norman disappeared on Christmas morning.
After he went missing, Ben and Emily went on extensive searches, but have been unable to find him.
They told the Crow: "Norman is a very home-loving cat and never stays out for more than a few hours.
"We only moved to Royston at the beginning of December and think he must have been spooked by something while he was out exploring and can't find his way home."
Over the past week, the couple has knocked on doors and handed out hundreds of flyers, asking people in the community to check their gardens, sheds and outbuildings.
They also posted information in local groups on social media, with Facebook posts reaching more than 31,000 people and shared more than 150 times.
While they have received calls from some people reporting sightings, so far none have been of Norman.
Ben and Emily said they are desperate to find him, and are now offering the reward for anyone with information leading to his safe return.
Norman went missing from Days Close on Christmas morning, and is around 11 years old. He is both neutered and chipped.
The couple said: "Norman is a much-loved member of our family and we just want him home.
"He was previously a rescue cat who had been abandoned and we can't stand the thought that he is frightened and alone somewhere.
"We have looked everywhere we can think of and are asking everyone living in and around Royston to look out for him and check in and around their properties.
"His previous history means he is quite shy and so we would ask who thinks they have seen him to contact us at 07872 302764 or email benjaminjames.hewitt@gmail.com."
The couple has also produced a video of images of Norman to assist in the search, which can be viewed at https://youtu.be/k1zS9mDe1qY.
