Wallabies and maned wolves living at Shepreth Wildlife Park enjoyed a frosty morning of Christmas treats to celebrate the release of a new video game expansion pack.
The game Planet Zoo, which allows players to become zookeeper, has new downloadable content - the Grasslands Animal Pack - which introduces grassland-dwelling species.
Shepreth's red-necked wallaby was one of the grassland species treated to seasonal snacks at the wildlife park this Christmas, along with maned wolves who braved the icy conditions for their festive treats.
Shepreth Wildlife Park is open from 10am to 4pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and its play areas are open from 10am to 3pm on Tuesdays.
The park is fully open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in school holidays.
This year the wildlife park celebrated the 10th anniversary of the founding of Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity (SWCC) and the SWCC Hedgehog Hospital.
SWCC helps fundraise for wildlife conservation work both at home and abroad, and runs an onsite hedgehog hospital for the treatment and rehabilitation of hedgehogs brought in by the public, before they are released back into the wild.
Anyone who finds a sick, injured or orphaned hedgehog should call the emergency hospital line on 07947 361187.
