Thirty creatively-decorated trees were on display over the weekend at the annual Steeple Morden Christmas Tree Festival.
The festival was held from Friday, November 18 to Sunday, November 20 at St Peter and St Paul Church in Steeple Morden.
Village groups and clubs, primary school classes and individuals decorated trees in a variety of imaginative ways.
The group Charity Recycling North Herts and South Cambs created a tree entirely out of recycled materials. Morden Players created a Fawlty Towers-themed tree, and Steeple Morden Tennis Club even made a Christmas tree out of a tennis racket.
Other trees were provided by Steeple Morden Primary School, Mordens 6th Royston Beavers and more. The church also created its own 'White Christmas' tree beautifully adorned with flowers, as well as a prayer tree.
Tea and coffee was available throughout the weekend, along with a sale of homemade cakes and preserves. There was also a raffle with Christmas-themed prizes.
Members of the Steeple Morden Parochial Church Council (PCC), who organised the event, said: "Thank you to all those organisations, individuals and schools who made a splendid effort in presenting the amazing number of magnificent trees, and all those who had helped to run the festival."
