Gordon David Baker aged 83, "fell asleep" on 15th October at home in Barkway watching the Test Match between England and Pakistan, with a glass of wine beside him. He was a devoted husband to Janis, loving father to Anthony, James and Gordon, Granddad Pops to Elouise, uncle, great-uncle and brother-in-law. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place on Thursday 14th November at 2.00pm at Barkway Village Hall, SG8 8BS. He will be laid to rest at St Mary Magdalene's Church, Barkway SG8 8EJ. You are welcome to join the family after the interment for refreshments at Barkway Village Hall, to continue to remember and celebrate Gordon's life.
